Question : Hi
I have noticed white discoloured skin patches on the deep neck folds of my 2 month old baby. I first saw it in the deep neck folds of the right side of the neck. But in 5 days , I see white patches develop all over the neck , but all of them are in the deep skin folds. I am scared. Is this vitiligo?

Brief Answer:
Could be due to fungal infections

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query. Based on the description it seems that your child is having a fungal infection and not vitiligo. However, I would need you to upload an image of the affected areas for me to evaluate.

I would wait for your response.
