Question : 13 year old with BP of 110/46, dizziness, seeing floaters of black, white & clear, fatigue, tightening in chest. Feels normal after raising heart rate when running or working out. Said when he works out is the only time he is not as dizzy. Saw the neurologist and he said he thinks we need to see a cardiologist. Any ideas on what this could be? Should we see an optomologist too?
Brief Answer:
Possible autonomic dysfunction.Needs further evaluation.
Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir.
I understand your query and concern.
Many of the symptoms are related to autonomic dysfunction.
This can be evaluated through appointment with a cardiologist .
Also a complete eye examination with an expert Ophthalmologist is mandate.
A complete cardiac work up in the form of 2 dimensional echo and 24 hour holter ecg is needed.
Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.
