Brief Answer:
Mostly Xeroderma

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HCM.

You gave very short history. Still, I can understand your concern about dry skin of knee after TKR surgery.

You might be having dry and rough skin on knee. It may be called localised xeroderma. There may be uneasy feeling or mild to severe itching. It may be due to dressing material or cream applied after sugery. Or frequent washing with antiseptic liquid may be responsible.

If you get itching sensation, take antihistaminics like levocetirizine 5 mg at night. You may apply mild steroid cream like mometasone cream ( elocon cream )
You may apply moisturising cream like venusia cream to keep the skin moist.
You should avoid bathing with soap, which might exacerbate the condition. Orally, you may take vitamin E 400 mg daily like cap evion for long time.

I hope this would be helpful to improve the condition. However, you consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis and treatment.

Thanks..

Wishing you healthy life.
