Question : I had a physical yesterday and I have fluid in my ear and I am flying early next week! I have not eaten anything different and I don't drink! I started taking the zpack of steroids yesterday 7 yesterday 6 today. I was in the sun a little mowing the lawn but this afternoon my face got very warm very red and I have lumps like mosquito bites! Could I be having a reaction to the steroids?

I need to ask whether you mean that fluid is oozing out of your ear. If so, I need to ask how long it has been occurring. Moreover, I need to know the reason of your taking steroids. It would be helpful if you could upload an image of the rashes that you mention. You can do so using the facility on the upper right of this page. It will help me evaluate the possible cause. However, I do not feel it likely to be due to a reaction to the steroids.

I did not have fluid oozing out I had an ear ache and a little fluid in my ear on some type of prednisone as I am flying this wed! Mosquito like bumps have gone away and just have red face now
