Question : this is really embarrassing.
I m a 29 year old woman. since starting puberty, iv had awful hair growth around my buttocks. It really gets Me down. Iv shaved it before and waxed but I get an awful rash. I couldn't talk to anyone in person about this as it's far too embarrassing!
I feel like a man with this condition.
please help!!!

Thanks for the query

Pattern of hair growth is most often genetic, here is how you should go about it

1. Please do not shave the area
2. If wax is causing rashes then I suggest chemical depilatory products like Veet. It is a cream which has to be applied over the hair which needs to be removed and then scraped off. Its not painful
3. Permanent cure would be to undergo laser removal of hair

shaven wax and veet cause a painful rash. laser removal would cost a fortune and isn't 100% effective.

Thanks for getting back.

I suggest you to apply calamine lotion after waxing and take tab avil 1 day before waxing and on the day of waxing, this will reduce intensity of the rash.

Both cold and hot wax gives you a rash?
