Question : I had viral infection and had fever three days back and I took the medication as per doctor advice for 3 days and the fever is gone. But I had mild cold and I am also having cough. I am also having pain underneath the left eye at this moment since yesterday. What should I do for the eye pain?? Is it any big concern. Can you suggest ant medicine??
Brief Answer:
sounds like sinusitis
Detailed Answer:
the symptoms are quite suggestive of a possible sinusitis.
i think that you should test a x ray pns waters view to confirm the diagnosis.
if found to have sinusitis, following steps should help-
1. steam inhalation 4 times a day
2. warm saline gargles 4 times a day
3. nasal drops of oxemetazoline 4 times a day.
Best of luck.
