Question : yes please.
suince yesterday I've felt like the flu coming on (male 46 yrs old): slight fever, achy all over...
But I have extra odd symptoms
I have a lower to mid back "ache" (not pain) and it hurts (almost burns) when I urinate (no blood , no discoloration)....

From your query it seems that you are suffering from a urinary tract infection. You need to get a urinalysis, urine culture and sensitivity.

If the reports are positive you will need antibiotics.

Till you see your doctor, please drink more of clean drinking water. Take paracetamol to help with the flu like symptoms.
