Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood your history of tick bite causing fever and chills for 48 hours, feeling tired and have headache; now having heartburn and nausea.
Wants to know anything other than more medication you can take to stop nausea and heartburn
I would advise you the following:
I personally do not feel your symptoms due to Flucloxacillin.
Other than medicines you can do this:
Soft bland diet.
Small frequent meals.
Early dinner and wait for sometime, say at least an hour before you go to bed.
Also can take cold milk, ice creams.
If these thing do not help you can just add a few medicines like:
PPI like Omeprazole or Ranitidine.
Antacid get at 3 hourly intervals and
Domperidone.
Rest of the treatment as before.
If you feel that Flucloxacillin is causing such a problem, please stop this medicine and get an alternative antibiotic and additional antihistamine treatment.
I hope this answers your query, please feel free to ask further relevant query or if you feel that there is a gap-of-communication.
