                                            Question : Thank you, yes.
the left hand ring finger has started a low pain cramp that pulls the finger toward little finger. It started a week ago and is strange, never happening before. No numbness, just the in inability to use the left hand. I have taped it to the center finger to stop the pulling. I am wondering if this is an indication of nurorophy starting?Should I seek medical treatment. and is there a treatment for this?

                                    Brief Answer:
Dupuytren contracture or Trigger finger
Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
It is possible you have Dupuytren contracture or Trigger finger. Avoid smoking and drinking alcohol.
Apply hot soaks. Don't try to force the finger straight. You can wear a finger extension splint if it is not very painful.
Get an Ultrasound of the affected region and follow up with me.
It is best to get it looked at by an Orthopaedic surgeon.
I hope I have answered your query.
I will be available to answer your follow up queries l.
