There is no need to worry.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
I have noted your son's symptoms and his MRI brain findings.
Arachnoid cysts are not serious problems and there is no need to worry about them.
This arachnoid cyst is present from birth and has not occurred recently. They commonly cause headaches and seizures.
In this case, medications for headaches and seizures would help. You can ask your doctor to start the medications, while waiting for EEG and sleep study reports.
Only in rare cases, when the arachnoid cyst is causing a lot of pressure effect on the adjacent normal brain, surgery may be needed to remove it. Otherwise, surgery is not needed.
I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.
Wishing you good health,

Cyst pushes the brain to opposite side.
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.
Cyst contains brain water (cerebro spinal fluid-CSF). This displaces the adjacent brain to opposite side. If the shift is not causing pressure on the brain, then, there is no need to worry.
Best wishes,
