Brief Answer:
it has to be investigated

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Feeling your heartbeat could be related to various medical problems. I'll mention some of them.

- Anxiety, which is a very common cause. We have ro exclude other causes before attributing anything ro anxiety.
- various causes of tachycardia, including hyperthyroidism, anemia, infections, arrhythmias, etc.

An investigation should be done to find out the underlying cause. Your first step should be to visit your doctor who will be able to distinguish between an arrhythmia and other causes and order the necessary further tests. A complete blood count, tsh, electrolytes etc are important tests that have to be done.

I hope you find my comments helpful!
