Brief Answer:
Continue Crocin along with antihistamine

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to the HCM

I understand your concerns but don't worry. The most likely reason for such complaints is a self limiting viral illness. It needs symptomatic treatment and it improves within a few days.

So, continue with Crocin Ds for fever spikes which are more than 100 degrees fahrenheit. You may repeat the dose after 6-8 hours if fever persists. Also, start him on antihistamine such as Chlorpheniramine or fexofenadine for cold and congestion. There is no need for any other treatment at present. In case, fever spikes persist for more than 3 days than do visit a pediatrician for proper clinical examination and definitive treatment.

Hopefully it will be of help. I would be happy to help you in any further questions.

Take care

Ok.

My concern is, tomorrow we are going outside and my train is at 5 PM and will travel for next 14 hours, so i am little concern that if fever comes up again in train than will be difficult for him.

So if you think any safe antibiotics can given pls. let me know.

Brief Answer:
You may carry along Syp. Augmentin DDS

Detailed Answer:
Hi
You may carry along Syp. Augmentin DDS or Tab. Cefixime (200mg). In case the fever doesn't subside even after 3 days then either of these antibiotics may be given. But a clinical examination if possible will be better to check for definitive diagnosis.

Also, carry along Syp. Meftal P (mefenamic acid) for very high fever spikes during travel. It's a good 2 nd line antipyretic drug.

Hopefully it will be of help.
Take care and happy journey
