Question: Dear Dr. XXXXXXX

I have recently returned from psychiatric hospital and did indeed have bleeding for 1-2 days while there on Feb 3,4th, 2015. I was told not to continue birth control and no medicines. Waiting for next month to see if menstration returns as normal? I had my prolactin levels checked and last month were 34(Dec) then 6 days ago 71(due probably to bc pills) and decrease to 45 today 2/6/2015. I will update next month after hopefully I get period or of my prolactin levels

Brief Answer:
Keep updating me with your prolactin statistics.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Madam.

I understand your concern.

Its good to know that you have finally got your period.

Just keep tracking your prolactin levels.

The normal range is 2-29 ng/ml.

Try to keep prolactin levels closer to 15 ng/ml.

Stop Birth control pills.

The current fluctuations can be related to it.

You will soon have your complete normal period.Do not worry.Stay relaxed.

Keep updating me your status.

Post your further queries.if any.
