Brief Answer:
?? uncomplicated abscess

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query and would like you to know that I am here to help. The provided description indeed sounds like an abscess of some sort. The initial approach to an uncomplicated abscess would be the following:

-Warm compresses almost throughout the day or whenever possible
-Several sitz baths containing epsom salts
-Drinking plenty of water
-Take a warm shower at least twice a day
-The use of Neosporin ointment over the surface of the affected region will help

If at all you also observe an increase in temperature we may require oral antibiotics also, for which you will have to visit your doctor. Please also do not try to poke, irritate or burst this region. Wear clothes comfortable enough to avoid friction (eg. Cotton track pants, etc.). If at all the current therapy does not help in releiving the inflammation for more than 10 days, only then will be have to considered incision and drainage of the affected region.

I hope you find my response helpful sir. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always available to help.

Best wishes.
