Posted on Sat, 5 Dec 2015
Question: Three XXXXXXX ago, I got a sudden pain at my back that goes al the way down both arms and up to the head. I feel the scalp very sensitive also. I don't like taking pain killers and applied a cream but then next day I felt like if I had taken a drug. The pain was still there. Any kind of move I make causes pain, if I rest on my back, my arms immediately hurts, I keep motionless and little by little the pain goes away, I feel relieve in the neck though when resting in my back. I have been blaming a protein supplement that I started to take few days ago, but I am not sure. I don't want to take pills. Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Clinical evaluation, examination and investigations ASAP.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the detailed feedback, read the attachment provided by you carefully.
Since you have had the 'attacks' well explained by you I would advise you the following ASAP.
Get a clinical evaluation, actual physical examination by a Doctor and get investigated according to the clinical findings and a reference for the specialist for further evaluation, investigations and proper prescription based treatment.

This is the most important thing you have to undergo ASAP to confirm or rule out the diseases.
Next attack can be severe and the sequel and complications can be more permanent and damaging.
You have a problem that needs to be diagnosed and well treated in time.

Thanks Dr. Chandrakant,

I'll make time to be evaluated again. I have all kind of test 2 years ago including an MRI because my friend needed a kidney and we matched perfectly, everything was OK with my transplant studies. He died before surgery, sadly ...

I know that I have the muscle of my back damaged for many reasons including age. I'm scare of injections and medication of any kind, so I try to keep healthy, but the problem is that I haven't taken nor even 1 day of vacation since 2005 to present.
The dentist's coach, clinical labs, and Radiology are the only places I have visit as a patient in my whole life. I have never been admitted nor even for 1 day. But everything is different, I got to admit it, I'm 62.
Thanks for your patience Dr.

It is praiseworthy that you never needed an admission in the hospital and I wish you never have to in future too.

It is always better to know the present condition so that a proper treatment can be managed better than before.

Please let me know if you need any further information, I shall be happy to assist you till you are diagnosed and cured.
Please give me feedback of the clinical evaluations and the investigations.
