Question : I have irregular bleeding. Sometimes when I get my period its for two weeks straight, sometimes its only a few days. I have the impanon which they said is regular. But, I didn't feel comfortable with it so I got tested for STDs a year ago and they all came back normal. Here I am a year later and having more problems. I bleed after sex for like two weeks straight. No paid, no itching, no burning, no discoloration. I don't really understand what is going on.

I understand your concern and situation.

There are various causes which cause bleeding post sex like an infection, such as pelvic inflammatory disease , or a sexually transmitted infection, cervical or endometrial polyps orcervical ectropion or atrophic vaginitis etc. In your case as you told no STD then it could be other causes. I would suggest you to visit a gynaecologist and get pelvis examination done along with PAP smear and hormonal assay. The treatment can only be advised according to the diagnosis.
