Question : im married and im not getting my periods regular. when i check my uterus with my doctor she says there is no problem in uterus. whether irregular periods affect my pergnancy

Thanks for posting your query.

If you have developed irregular cycles only after getting married, weight disturbances, infections, stress and of course, hormone imbalances should be considered.

If you do not wish to go for further evaluation now, please try with regular exercise and proper weight maintenance. Take plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables with adequate liquids. If this does not cure your menstrual irregularity, you may go for further evaluation.

You may furnish me your menstrual calendar so that I can have a better idea of how erratic your cycles are. The normal range of a week is seen in any cycle and this should not be considered abnormal.

After a proper clinical evaluation, you should undergo a complete hormone profile, trans-vaginal sonogram, blood counts and urinalysis.

Please do not worry, these sort of disturbances are so common now-a-days and there is plenty of treatment available for correction.
