Question : My labia minor is very itchy and swollen. I see skin peeling off from it and very slight bleeding. There is discharge but not cottage cheese like.It's been almost 3 days after my period. This is a recurrent symptom. I'm unsure what it is. Last time I got treated for yeast infection but I don't think it is.

Avoid soaps and irritants to wash the area and instead you can use saline or warm water. You can also use intimate wash daily which helps in restoring normal vaginal bacterial flora and PH. Use mild detergents for the undergarments also. Use hypoallergenic pads while having periods.
Using ointments containing anti fungal agents like miconazole and corticosteroid like hydrocortisone will be helpful for this.
