Question : I have intermittent deep itching in my left heel.

The deep itching can be due to age related osteoarthritic changes or due to bony spur in the heel. It can be related to a mild nerev root irritation at the level of lower lumbar spine. To help it, you can do a hot compress in the area and start taking methylcobalamin supplements.
In case it is persistent then do consult a neurologist for a direct examination.
