Suggest Remedy For Itchy Rashes On The Face And Body

Question: Hi, my son developed mild rashes on Thursay night and when we brought him to see a PD, he said its viral rashes and to take zrytec and apply efficort lipocream as he is not in pain and has no fever, just itchy.

Over the course of yesterday and today, more rashes seems have develop all over his face and body and the face seems more puffy today. Is this normal and how long does it take to recover?
