Suggest Remedy For Laboured Breathing And Pressure During Bowel Movement Hernia Repair

Large intestine should be checked for possible narrowing.
Detailed Answer:
Presence of mesh and few surgeries history makes narrow intestine possible. Symptoms like feeling pressure in some part of large intestine along with bloating, occasional gas obstruction, diarrhea and/or constipation (can appear alternately) are typical symptoms of such narrow intestine (we call it partial bowels obstruction). Breathing problems can be caused by distended intestine which compress diaphragm.
MRI is a good way to see what is mesh, what is intestine and if there is any conflict between this structure. But regular MR may be not enough. As we want to check intestines, contrast should be given. Such test is called MRI enterography.
Before MRI, colonoscopy would be a good idea.

I hope MRI will give an answer about the reason of your problems.
Detailed Answer:
If they will scan whole abdomen and pelvis, any issues with mesh and intestine should be visible. It is good to have neurologist and radiologist team to take a look on MRIs especially at your case. I hope they will find good solution.
