Suggest Remedy For Low Sperm Count
Question: Hi,
3 Months back I had Varicocele surgery, due to pain in my testicles and low sperm count especially Normal forms of Morphology was low. The result of the surgery is known after 3 months. After 3 months(i.e after surgery), I took semen analysis test. But the result was same like before surgery. Vol - 3ML, Total sperm count - 18 Million/ml, Motility - 50% Rapid - 10% Moderate - 25% Normal forms - 5%. We are trying for baby for more than 3 years. Her hormones, folicle development and HSG tests are good and positive.
I have 2 following questions :
1. Is there any medicine to increase Normal forms? If its so, how many months durations will it take to reflect?
2. Doctors has suggested us to go for ICSI or IUI. Do we need proceed as per our gyne advice or we should keep on trying for natural way?

1) Sperm morphology are difficult to be improved by medicines. You need life style changes. ANyway 5% is normal.
2) Stop smoking and alcohol if you do. Do moderate exercise on a daily basis.
3) Practice yoga and meditation and also decrease stress if you have stress.
4) It is better to go for IUI or ICSI as your count is also borderline .
