Brief Answer:
You seem to have nerve impingement due to overuse and/or swelling of tendon

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to HCM. You seem to have what is called carpal tunnel syndrome. This discomfort especially worries people at night. They will wake up from sleep with this numbness and tingling sensation. It comes on from overuse, those who type a lot or use their hands and wrists for work. Ibuprofen will help a lot and splints for the hands have been shown to alleviate the pain and discomfort, others have had to get steroid injections in the carpal tendon sheath and of course carpal tunnel surgery release ultimately fixes this. For now I would go and buy some splints that you can get without a prescription to help you with the symptoms. I hope this helps, good luck and thanks.
