Brief Answer:
Continue medications and physiotherapy & Get MRI if no improvement in 4 wks

Detailed Answer:
Hello xxxxxxxxx,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Cervical spondylosis is usually age related degeneration of spine with features of nerve root compression.

At this age it is less likely unless a disc prolapse with compression of roots occurs.

Second possibility is muscular neck pain due to strain.

You should get a MRI spine(cervical region), if symptoms do not improve.
The treatment is right at the moment and drugs take around 2-4 weeks to have maximum benefit. In initial stage pain killers may be given for 1-2 weeks along with these drugs.

Physiotherapy is the most important part of management and should be done regularly.
The doses of drugs can be increased if required but only after discussing with your local physician.

Hope you found the answer helpful.
