Brief Answer:
probably what your doctor said

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

if your symptoms were related to the fall, they would probably be constant, but you've mentioned that they come and go. Abdominal pain that comes and goes usually originates in the bowels. If you've seen no sign of blood (red or tarry black, fast heart rate, hypotension) then I would recommend watchful waiting. Sometimes pain near the abdomen may cause constipation (spine problems after injuries for example). Besides that, your doctor can check your bowel functionality clinically (and I'm sure he did), so if there was any suspicion for serious problems he would have said so.

If any sign of worsening develops, then you'd better visit your doctor again.

I hope you find my comments helpful!
