Suggest Remedy For Pain At Base Of Thumb When Having Bursitis

Question: I have severe pain in the base of both my thumbs. I've been told I have bursitis. The only thing that helps the pain is cortisone injections. My doctor will not give me anymore injections and wants me to see a hand specialist. Why can't I have more injections if that's the only relief I get? What is a long term solution?
Brief Answer:
Get your investigations done.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have read your query.
Get your xray of affected hand done focusing thumb in AP and oblique view, E.S.R, serum uric acid, RA factor fasting blood sugar levels and then send me the reports.
Take aceclofenac + serratiopeptidase combination three times a day by discussing it with your family doctor.
Apply hot packs for 30 mins in morning and evening.
Avoid doing heavy and prolong activities with that hand.
I hope it helps.
Thanks.
