Brief Answer:
No, this is not suggestive of internal bleeding!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this fall that you suffered last night. Please, always watch your steps as some falls may have far reaching consequences than what you experienced this time around!

I have reviewed the surrounding circumstances of your fall and your symptoms. This is not suggestive of internal bleeding. Internal bleeding presents with more severe symptoms and in an area that has the capability to accomodate much blood and not the chest(sternum). This pain is more suggestive of inflmmation in reaction to trauma that you suffered yesterday. Pain medications like Tylenol and Ibuprofen at doses recommended by your pharmacist would resolve these symptoms. Also, applying cold packs would be helpful as well.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
