Question : When I get up in the morning, I always have a pain in the bottom of my foot at the heel. It gets better as the day goes on. This has been going on for about a year. Any idea what may cause this. I am 75 years ols and don't go to the gym but I walk often.

Brief Answer:
May be plantar fascitis or calcaneal spur.
Detailed Answer:
Dear Madam,
Thank you for posting your query on HCM.
Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that it most commonly seems to be calcaneal spur or plantar fascitis that is troubling you . I will advise you to take contrast water bath plus wear silicon soles in your shoes . Also please tell if you have any history of Diabetes or other disease so I will tell a suitable pain killer to relieve the pain.
Any other queries please ask.
Take care.
