Brief Answer:
Pain may be due to calcaneal spur, tendinitis, arthritis, neurpoathy etc.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

O.K,no problem if you don't have CD right now.
Most probably you are referring to sesamoid bone(These are accessory bones in the distal end of metatarsal of great toe ).These are normal structures.
Sesamoid may cause pain if there is fracture, inflammation etc in sesamoid bone.

Foot pain may be due to many causes like calcaneal spur, tendinitis, arthritis, neuropathy etc.
It need proper clinical evaluation and few more investigations.

Till proper evaluation you can take analgesics SOS.
Keep your foot in hot and cold water alternatively for fifteen minutes and it can be done four times daily till symptoms are relieved. It will give relief from inflammation if there is any.

Proper treatment depend upon clinical evaluation.

Hope I have answered your question.
