Brief Answer:
There are things other than pain medication that are needed.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I understand the cause of your concern. I would like to know how long she has been in pain. Also mention if an X ray of the lumbosacral spine (AP and lateral) as well as X ray hip (both - AP, lateral) has been done. If not, please get them done and share the reports. Based on the findings I would guide you further.

I will insist you to see a physical therapist who would be able to guide about the exercises that are likely to help. Hot compress should provide relief.

Regards
