Suggest Remedy For Pain In The Gums And In Between Teeth

Question: My gum started hurting 2 days ago and today i look at it and it looks like this. It hurt when i floss and hurt when i eat between the teeth in that area seems hurt as well. When i touch it it feels like pain so i avoid rubbing it with my tougue. Is this serious or life threatening. What do you think this is?

From what you describe and the photo you have provided it looks like you have either a gum infection or a dental abscess. This is not immediately life threatening but it could progress to a more serious infection if you do not get it treated. It is important that you see a dentist as soon as possible. If you can not get in to see a dentist soon then go to an urgent care to see a doctor as you will probably need an antibiotic prescription. Please see either a doctor or a dentist within the next few days.
