Brief Answer:
It can be due to osteoporosis or nerve pain

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case and I think that it can be due to one of the following causes.
1.osteoporosis- it means lack of vitamin D and calcium. it is common in post menopausal women especially above 60 years. This is causes pain in legs and back.
2.Other cause can be nerve related pain. which can be due to neuropathy, common due to B 12 deficiency.
I would suggest you to get your vitamin D and B 12 level. I would also suggest you to take regular calcium and vitamin D in your diet. If this pain is more like needle or paresthesia then B 12 supplementation will be helpful. You need to take methylcobal one tablet daily for three months.
One rare possibility is stress fracture which is common in joggers and can be confirmed by tenderness on one point. It can also be diagnosed by x ray. Treatment is rest and splinting.
I hope this answer will be helpful for you. In my opinion taking vitamin D and calcium will take care of this pain.
thanks
