Suggest Remedy For Pain, Pressure And Discomfort In Armpit
Question: I woke up with pain/discomfort under my right armpit. Still there. It feels like tight pressure but I had went in once before a year ago and they said I had a pinched nerve???

Sharp stabbing pain in the armpit usually arrives due to enlargment of lymphnodes in the axillary region.
There is rich network and many lymph nodes present in the armpit region.
Any kind of infection in upper body in hand region or near chest region can produce their enlargement and thus pain.
Sometimes it could be nonspecific also and can be seen due to weather changes causing inflammation of the nodes.
Usually if there is no such obvious injury or infrction in your arms and hand mostly this enlargment will go away as day progresses on its own.
But if you do have some infection of fingers or nails in same hand then you will need antibiotic coverage for treatment after clinical examination by a physician.
Also it could be due to sebaceous cyst formation in armpit as hair follicles are multiple and due to friction and sweat it can clog the gland pore causing inflammation and infection of the gland. Kindly consult a doctor if the reason is either of the above 2 mentioned. If bo then it will go away on its own.
Pinched nerve usually will cause pain in shoulder and also tingling numbness over the arm till finger tips. If that is not the case i doubt the reason being pinched nerve.
