Brief Answer:
Infected lesions

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Welcome to this site!
I am Dr V XXXXXXX a Sr Dermatologist.

I have taken note of your problem and seen the pic. This matches the description of an insect bite with secondary infection with bacteria.

Generally, such lesions appear in close groups and have deep redness around the area accompanied by itching, as happened in your case.

I deal with such problems very frequently and have found the best results when patients adopt following measures:

1 Wash the area frequently, using plain water only.

2 Apply a cream containing an antibiotic and a mild steroid. Fluticasone and Mupirocin combo are very good to start with.

3 For itching control, Levocetirizine 5 mg a day works very well in most patients.

4 Keep the part covered by wearing loose garments though dressing is not required.

5 An anti-inflammatory like Brufen might be considered for relief from swelling and pain.

It might take some days before one notices significant improvement.

Our best wishes for your early recovery.
