Suggest Remedy For Penile Bleeding Caused By Scarring

Question: Hello, I have developed an issue on the bottom of the head of my penis. It looks like no blood flow is going there. I am 26 year old male and healthy. It's not an infection. It's like when you press an area of skin it turns white, and then it goes back to normal when you take the pressure off. But it's stuck in that white state where it looks like no blow flow is reaching it. It happened after masturbating about 6 months ago. I noticed this area turning white and thought I may have strained it too hard. I think I may have permanently damaged it as the blood flow does not seem to have returned to the area. It doesn't hurt, but the white area tingles/has pokey pains when erect. The area that is lacking blood flow is apparent both when erect and flacid. Although it is much more apparent when erect as the the head of the penis turns darker red when erect. Please see the attached picture

Brief Answer:
it may be scar of reduced blood flow

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

I have seen your picture. It seems that patch is small.

From first impression it looks like normal scarring of reduced blood flow. It can be acquired (after prolonged pressure over the part) or congenital (since birth). It may be possible that you have noticed this white part before 6 months coincidentally and it was there since long.
It does not hurt much so no need to worry. Your erection is well.

For confirmation of diagnosis you need to undergo local ultrasound and if needed biopsy when ultrasound shows any changes.

The least possibility of infection is there (likely fungal infection). You have ruled out infection as such so I would like to put this diagnosis as the last.

In any case from your history it seems that there is no major problem.

- Please upload more clear pictures.

- Do you have any burning or discharge during urinating or masturbation/sex?

You can go to urologist for examination and investigations.

Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.
Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.

Thank you for your answer. There is no discharge or anything like that. It just has a tingly feeling and sometimes it feels like needles are poking it in the area that is white. It definitely occurred on one specific night. I never had a problem with it before. It's just really ugly and I hate the way that it looks. I think it's a turn off for women. I'll upload some clearer pics in just a little bit. Is there a medical term for this condition? I have looked all over the internet and I cannot find anything. Thanks

Brief Answer:
No specific terminology, need to rule out malignancy

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for information.

As such there is no specific terminology for your problem at present. It can come under Nonmalignant Dermatological Diseases/lesions of the Male Genitalia category.
We need to rule out malignancy though it is rare occurrence. I am mentioning just because prevention is better than cure.
If your erection is proper and your lesion is small I do not think that it can be problem for female partner.

Upload clear pictures with mentioning size of lesions.

Take care.
