Question: Hi,I am 32year female.I have mild backache problem from around last 10years.
From the last 8 years,I m doing job which involves computer usage for long hours.I have been getting muscular pain along with neck since last 4 years. The doctor did 2d echo and stress test (4years back) and ruled out any heart related problem. He said that this could be due to posture related thing n my spine movement was OK at that time according to him.He suggested few exercises which I don't do on regular basis.
Recently,I have started experiencing pain in my upper back along with some chest muscles pain.I can feel the pain points by pressing those points.Sometimes when I move my left arm upward/sideward then suddenly I feel as if my heart is beating very strongly (I feel some heart beat like thing..cud be twitching..don't no but u get very scared). The moment I get back my arm to normal position then that thing goes away.
Can u please guide me what it could be and what should be the way forward?
This does not happen always but sometimes and happen only due to left arm movement...even sometimes during car gear change...

Brief Answer:
Muscle related pain likely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The mild pain in the upper back and shoulder that decreases with change in posture is a muscle related pain. This can be related to muscle spasm, poor postural habits or mild spondylottic changes in the spine.
Follow these lifestyle modifications,
1.) Apply heat or cold packs regularly.
2.) Take a hot shower everyday.
3.) Do regular physical therapy.
4.) Do consult an orthopedician for examination and get some muscle relaxants prescribed.
5.) Applying local analgesic gel and muscle relaxant gel will also help.
6.) Avoid high calorie foods and eat healthy nutritious balanced diet which should include fresh fruits and Green leafy vegetables.
7.) Exercise regularly and maintain a healthy weight.

I hope this answers your query.
