Question: I have been diagnosed with major depression and bipolar disorder. I have been on medicines for about 7 years now. Just lately I have become lethargic, sleepy all the time, and have no physical motivation, yet, I feel no sadness at all and I don't feel numb I just am doing very little . What is going on with me.

Hello, and thank you so much for your premium question.

I have carefully read your question, and I have also looked through all of your previous questions, in order to give you a complete and comprehensive answer.

My understanding is that you have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and at least in March of this year you were taking lithium, amitriptyline, and Abilify. What you are describing may be a medication side effect, withdrawal, a medical issue, or less likely a major depressive episode. Have you had medication changes recently? Any alcohol or drugs? Changes in sleep or diet? Any medical problems, a recent checkup, or recently checked labs including Vitamin D level, CBC, CMP?

Let me know the answer to these questions so I can better assist you.
