Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
The neck should first be examined for tenderness and proper movement in all directions. If any concern is there, x ray cervical spine , lateral view can be advised to look for possible compression, degenerative changes, joint space narrowing , spondylosis etc. NSAIDs like Celecoxib, muscle relaxants such as cyclobenzaprine or tizanidine can be prescribed for 10 days. Most likely the symptoms will improve. Gabapentin can be added initially or at a later stage if the pain is severe as graded by your doctor. Vitamin B12 and vitamin D plus calcium supplementation can also be advised accordingly. Physiotherapy, exercises and posture correction can also be advised related to your profession and day to day work.
Wishing you best of health
Thanks
