Question : am suffering from left side head ache from more than 4 years and for that am taking dart tablet,
now a days for within a week am getting 2 to 3 times head ache and not getting relief from that until taking dart tablet, please suggest how to come over from this

Appears to be migrainous nature of headache

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

You should consider getting a Neurologist evaluation. You should check with him if it could be tension headache or migraine headache. You may need a CT scan of brain to rule out organic disorder because if the headache is concentrated only one side each time it is important to rule out lumps or masses.

Once CT is free and no abnormality then life style evaluation to check for reasons for headache like water intake, skipping meals, sleep disorders, medications all needs a discussion. Sometimes taking too much DART can lead to rebound headache. So please see a Neurologist if you have not seen one and ask him about Migraine prophylaxis as well.
