Brief Answer:
Rash causes: Allergy, infection, infestation - all easily treatable.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,

I am Dr. Neel Kudchadkar and I will help you out with this problem.

The rash that has erupted on your body and has led you to the ER is most probably of allergic origin as is evinced by the medications that you have been given, in the ER. These are anti histaminics. These help to stop the problematic rash temporarily. Thus, I would ask you to think well and remember whether, at any point of your life, whether you have had an allergy to any foods, pollen, dust, household chemicals and the like. I suggest that you try and avoid anything that you might want to identify as a trigger for the rashes. The other possibility is that, indeed this skin eruption may be of an infective reason. Here, I would ask you to be patient and take a systemic antibacterial and anti fungal medication. You might want to visit a doctor for a face to face interview as you know that everything cannot be done online. The next probability is that your rash is parasitic in origin. This can be due to ticks and nematodes. I would ask you to explore all these possibilities to ensure that you get better. You might need some permethrin skin cream and lotion for parasites, IF they exist.

I have examined your question and have gone through the list of medications that you are taking, I sincerely feel that these conditions are not causing your rash, so please maintain your regimen of medicines.

Your sincerely,
Dr. Neel Kudchadkar
