Question : I'm getting pain in my left upper back, it comes and goes,what could be the cause?

I'm Dr Sudhir Kumar

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. It is most likely muscular pain. Treatment of it is rest and analgesic such as ibuprofen. Vitamin B and C helpful in recovery. It is advisable chest x ray to rule out chest related causes. and x ray and MRI of thoracic spine to rule out spinal causes.
