Gout can occur even when the serum Uric acid levels are normal. You must take precautions like according chicken, meat, meat gravies, spinach, broccoli, salmon, dried fish, sardines. You cab have milk and milk products as they have a known protective role. Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration and Gout flare ups. Avoid obesity by regular exercise. Since I recently had a kidney removed due to renal cell cancer. My Drs. Aren't sure that meds are the cause ....
Allopurinol appears like the cause

Hi there.
Thanks for the query.
The medicine Allopurinol is a well known cause of such reactions. Also you have noticed that after taking it you get the Angioedema.
Regarding the Renal cell carcinoma, there's is no obvious reason to cause Angioedema episodes directly. It would be wise to consult your Surgeon or Oncologist in this regard.
You could suggest your Doctor to perform a trial omitting Allopurinol from your regimen and using only Uloric as the mainstay therapy for your Gout. Follow the mentioned precautions and your should be fine.
I hope I have answered your query.
Thanking you.
