Brief Answer:
Possibility of a Drug Eruption (FDE) Or Genital Herpes

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I have gone through your query and I have also reviewed the Image.
I can see that there is slight redness, swelling and probably some blisters in this image. This does'nt look like a candidal/yeast infection.

I will keep a possibility of 'Fixed Drug Eruption' (FDE) which can present as redness, swelling and blisters on genital mucosa. Other mucosa such as oral mucosa may also be involved with similar FDE lesions.
The other possibility is that of 'Genital Herpes' which can also present with redness, swelling and fluid filled vesicles which soon rupture to form erosions.

Is there a history of preceding drug intake prior to the onset? Is there a recent history of a risky sexual contact?

I was taking medicine for cold (CTZ) and prescription tablets for stomach indigestion.

I received oral sex for few minutes about 2 weeks ago after which i washed and put candid B powder daily. I regularly wash with water and soap and then put powder. Not had any other activity before or after.

Is there a medication I can take to treat this? And will it be cured?
And is it contagious? What precaution should I take now?

Pls advise I am quite worried.

Brief Answer:
Use a topical antibacterial

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

As I said, it could be either a 'drug reaction' to some of the medicine that you were taking or it could be 'herpes genitalis' (history of recieving oral sex ia significant). I suggest you to stop all unnecessary medications (though you may continue with CTZ (cetrizine)). Oral antibiotics, antidiarrheals are common causes of drug reactions (FDE).

At this stage I would advice you manage it conservatively with a topical antibacterial cream e.g 2% mupirocin cream (T-Bact cream), twice daily.

Wash this area with lukewarm plain water. Avoid soaps, antiseptics etc.

You must later get screened for genital herpes at 4 weeks and again at 12 weeks. The test that I would suggest for screening is Hsv ELISA type 1 & type 2 Hsv (IgG and IgM).
