Brief Answer:
Suspecting dysmenorrhea

Detailed Answer:
Dear,
Welcome to HCM
After reading through the symptoms you have put up, the first condition that caromed to my mind is of dysmenorrhea, premenstrual syndrome, etc.

Pain preceding periods, gastric discomfort are suggestible of dysmenorrhea(commonly known as painful cramps immediately before or during menstrual period).
However, in order to obtain a better idea of your clinical condition, I may need answers to following:
1) what is location of aching pain? Does it radiate to back, thigh, hip?
2) Rate the severity on scale of 1-10.
3) have you ever had any such compliant during your previous periods or any history of similar pains in mother?
4) Do you have fever as well?

If you are unable to bear the pain in case of there is fever and if the loose motion persists, it is strongly advised to show yourself to local physician.

Tab paracetamol/ ibuprofen can be taken when pain starts.

Kindly revert back soon with the information.

Regards,
Dr Pankaj

Brief Answer:
tab paracetamol/ibuprofen for pain

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the information.
The location of pain, absence of pain and symptom history is strongly suggestive of acute dysmenorhea. You do need to be evaluated for the cause. It can be anything like infection, torsion, etc.

Meanwhile Tab paracetamol/ ibuprofen can be taken for pain as required, but not more than thrice a day. If the pain is very severe tab buscopan 10 mg can be taken along. The pain is generally most severe at the second day, after which it starts reducing and ends with periods.

Watch for any other symptoms of fever, continuos vomitting, etc.
Maintain adequate nutrition and fluid intake.

Hope that satisfies your query.

Thank you for asking
