Question : Hi. My younger sister, age 26 has dermoid cysts in both her ovaries. Doctor has scheduled surgery for 14th November but she is experiencing severe pain in her stomach,today. Am scared it will rupture. Pls give more information.

Yes,you maybe right,sudden pain in dermoid cyst of ovarian maybe due to torsion or due to rupture.
So she should consult a Gynecologist and get herself examined and ultrasound done to rule out the cause.
