Question : my friends teenage daughter has severe acne, but her mam does not want to go down the antibiotics route
is there anything she can do to relief it as she is a teenager she likes to wear make up to cover it when going out would this be a problem

I have gone through your query. Acne can be managed by following measures.
1. limit intake of fatty foods and sweets.
2. Avoid stress.
3. Take more fresh fruits and vegetables in diet.
4. You can do gentle face wash twice daily with acne soap.
5. Using creams or gels containing benzoyl peroxide and aloe vera on acne is helpful. This should be used at night time.
Make up if it is not irritating the skin then no problem in using.
