Question : I get a pain in chest and back when i look down and to side. It was worse a week ago. I had 2 chiropractor treatments last week that seemed to help a bit but now the pain is still there but not as broad - it is more isolated. Last week i could barely move my head at all with out terrible chest and back pain.

Brief Answer:
Can be due to muscle spasm.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The pain in chest and back on moving the neck is likely to be due to a muscle spasm or cervical spondylosis. Now that the pain has reduced it is best to get oral muscle relaxants prescribed from your physician, avoid abnormal neck position and do a hot compress in the area of painful muscles.
In case the problem is persistent then do consult an orthopedician for proper examination and required investigations.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
