Question : I have been experiencing complete fatigue and exhaustion. I'm taking several naps a day and am ready for bed by 6 or 7 pm. My thyroid numbers came back ok but something is not right and it's getting worse.

Brief Answer:
Blood count and cortisol levels..

Detailed Answer:
Hello
sorry to hear about your symptoms. I gather that the thyroid blood works were normal. Several other causes of tiredness and fatigue need to be ruled out. Sleep apnea is a common condition which can cause such symptoms. Anemia, Vitamin B12 deficiency may also cause such symptoms. May I suggest few tests.
1.CBC and ESR
2.Liver function tests.
3. Electrolytes
4. Kidney function profile.
5. Vitamin B12.
6. Urine Routine tests..

If clinical examination warrants, a chest xray also may be required. Not to worry. we may be able to find a cause for your symptoms. identifying the cause is the first task.

Binu
