Question : Hi...........I have a severe pain in my left ankle. It started about 10 days ago and is now much worse. it started on the outer side of my left ankle and has moved to back of heel. I can not put any weight on it. It is very swollen and hot to the touch..

After reading your post, the symptoms you reported seems concerning. Did you sustain an injury?

At this point of time, you can take painkiller like Ibuprofen twice daily after meals along with serratipeptidase and an antacid. However this problem needs a visit to an orthopedician. The doctor should order for an X-ray of ankle and foot after local examination to understand the cause of this problem.

I also recommend to rest your ankle. If needed, apply elastic crepe bandage for support. And call your doctor.
