Brief Answer:
sounds like fracture/dislocation of hip joint

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal
I have read your query
The symptoms are quite suggestive of hip fracture/dislocation.
I suggest testing with an x ray of the affected hip immediately.
She would be in severe pain and any movement will cause more pain.
Besides as you said, its probably affecting the nerves as well causing the numbness.
You need to be fast because hip fractures can cause severe other problems like fat embolism and vascular necrosis of the joint and lumbo sacral plexitis-
FAT EMBOLISM- fat moves away form the joint and gets stuck in major organs causing syndromes like heart attach and stroke
AVASCULAR NECROSIS- the damaged blood supply of the hip joint causes damage to the joint causing death of parts of the bones.
LUMBOSACRAL PLEXITIS- this plexus is a area that supplies nerves to the entire lower limb. It causes symptoms like numbness.
So get that x ray as soon as possible.
Best of luck
Dr Mittal
